Are you the kind of person who can just come up with the most fantastic story on the spot? You’re a lucky one! I’m definitely not one of those people. Making up a story for my kids takes a lot of energy out of me because I don’t like to be put on the spot (like REALLY HATE IT…but I’m working on it!) so that often affects my storytelling skills.
So, I was thrilled when I found storytelling cards* (a.k.a sequencing cards*) in a box of toys my mom gave me when she closed her daycare. It’s important to me that my kids have a strong imagination because it can open a lot of doors for them and, as any parent would, I want to give them as many skills as possible for them to succeed in life.
